Pela primeira vez em sua hist\u00f3ria, os curdos s\u00edrios se tornaram donos de suas pr\u00f3prias vidas e destinos, e governaram sua terra natal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o de Rojava em seu auge foi celebrada por alguns como um exemplo vivo de anarquismo na pr\u00e1tica. Atraiu a aten\u00e7\u00e3o e despertou esperan\u00e7as em muitos jovens radicalizados da esquerda em todo o mundo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agora, tragicamente, a maior parte dos ganhos da revolu\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 sendo desfeita, sob os golpes do regime islamista na S\u00edria. Embora conselhos locais tenham sido eleitos, e uma mil\u00edcia armada composta por homens e mulheres tenha sido formada, a revolu\u00e7\u00e3o nunca avan\u00e7ou para expropriar os propriet\u00e1rios de terras e capitalistas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fred Weston explicar\u00e1 como tudo isso se desenrolou, analisando como as ideias do l\u00edder do PKK \u2013 e de seu bra\u00e7o na S\u00edria \u2013, Abdullah \u00d6calan, contribu\u00edram para o atraso e a subsequente derrota da revolu\u00e7\u00e3o.
