Pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, la r\u00e9volution bolivarienne a \u00e9t\u00e9 une source d'inspiration pour des millions de travailleurs, de paysans et de jeunes \u00e0 travers toute l'Am\u00e9rique latine et au-del\u00e0. Hugo Ch\u00e1vez \u00e9tait une figure r\u00e9volutionnaire exceptionnelle qui souhaitait utiliser la richesse p\u00e9troli\u00e8re de son pays pour am\u00e9liorer les conditions de vie des V\u00e9n\u00e9zu\u00e9liens. Par la suite, il en \u00e9tait arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 la conclusion que cet objectif ne pouvait \u00eatre atteint qu'en s'engageant sur la voie du socialisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ch\u00e1vez et son mouvement se sont heurt\u00e9s \u00e0 la fureur de la bourgeoisie et de l'imp\u00e9rialisme. Ces derniers ont organis\u00e9 un coup d'Etat militaire en avril 2002, un lock-out national de l\u2019\u00e9conomie durant deux mois, et ont sabot\u00e9 l'industrie p\u00e9troli\u00e8re afin d'\u00e9craser la r\u00e9volution. \u00c0 maintes reprises, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tenus en \u00e9chec par l'intervention directe des masses. Ces derni\u00e8res se sont organis\u00e9es r\u00e9volutionnairement, ont provoqu\u00e9 de gigantesques manifestations, et ont occup\u00e9 leurs usines tout en instaurant un contr\u00f4le ouvrier sur la production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cependant, la r\u00e9volution v\u00e9n\u00e9zu\u00e9lienne n'a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e \u00e0 son terme. Ses conqu\u00eates ont finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 dilapid\u00e9es sous la direction de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, qui a trahi la r\u00e9volution. Dans cet expos\u00e9, Jorge Mart\u00edn, membre dirigeant de l'Internationale Communiste R\u00e9volutionnaire, dressera un bilan complet de la r\u00e9volution bolivarienne. Il reviendra sur le r\u00f4le jou\u00e9 par Hugo Ch\u00e1vez ; les lacunes du processus r\u00e9volutionnaire et la mani\u00e8re dont celui-ci a pris fin ; mais aussi sur la participation de la Tendance Marxiste Internationale (aujourd'hui ICR) en son sein.
