Durante muchos a\u00f1os, la revoluci\u00f3n bolivariana fue una fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n para millones de trabajadores, campesinos y j\u00f3venes en toda Am\u00e9rica Latina y m\u00e1s all\u00e1. Hugo Ch\u00e1vez fue una figura revolucionaria excepcional que quiso utilizar la riqueza petrolera del pa\u00eds para mejorar las condiciones de vida de los venezolanos comunes y corrientes, y lleg\u00f3 a la conclusi\u00f3n de que esto solo se pod\u00eda lograr avanzando hacia el socialismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ch\u00e1vez y su movimiento enfrentaron la ira de la oligarqu\u00eda capitalista y el imperialismo. Organizaron un golpe militar en abril de 2002, un cierre patronal nacional de dos meses y el sabotaje de la industria petrolera para aplastar la revoluci\u00f3n. Una y otra vez, fueron derrotados por la participaci\u00f3n directa de las masas a trav\u00e9s de manifestaciones masivas, organizaci\u00f3n revolucionaria, ocupaciones de f\u00e1bricas y control obrero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, la revoluci\u00f3n venezolana nunca se complet\u00f3. Finalmente, las ganancias fueron derrochadas y traicionadas bajo el liderazgo de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro. En esta charla de Jorge Mart\u00edn (miembro destacado de la Izquierda Comunista Internacional), discutiremos un balance completo de la revoluci\u00f3n bolivariana, el papel que jug\u00f3 Hugo Ch\u00e1vez, las deficiencias del proceso y c\u00f3mo lleg\u00f3 a su fin, as\u00ed como la participaci\u00f3n de la Tendencia Marxista Internacional (ahora ICR).
